Technical Sales Engineer

Our client is a successful and well-established engineering firm and leading specialist in the design and manufacture of hydraulic engineering solutions.

Due to continued expansion, the company is looking to recruit a Technical Sales Engineer to be in their offices based just south of Aberdeen City Centre.

This is a great opportunity for a skilled professional to join a forward-thinking business, specialising in the design and manufacture of high quality hydraulic and mechanical engineered solutions for several industry sectors, including Oil & Gas, and The Whisky Industry.

Duties Include:

• Generation of customer enquiries on sales database & generate physical sales file.
• Prepare quotations for customer enquiries and follow up.
• Provide technical input and support
• Update customers with progress reports.
• Update sales database.
• Generate sales order instructions and various documentation as required.
• Liaise with workshop, drawing office & stores to issue and progress customer orders through to completion.
• Generate documentation packages for customer orders – raw material certs/ pressure test certs / etc.

The Candidate:

• Experience of working within a Technical Sales position ideally within an engineering/manufacturing environment
• Good computer skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Focused on sales and working with customers
