SalaryWe have a new opening for a Sales Engineer to join our busy team. We are open to an experience within engineering from applications, sales or an engineer interested in a sales role. Experience gained in an engineering manufacturing environment is required for this role. This role will office based.
Working with the client you wind to provide Quote and solution specifications based on client requirements. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings is required. There will also be a requirement on occasion visits to client sites for surveys and floor layouts when required so a driving licence is required.
- Provide quotation and solution specification.
- Ability to gain technical knowledge and application understanding quickly (Full product training provided)
- Read Engineering Drawings - Solidworks
- Support new and existing customers at a technical level
- Preparation of initial product application and quotes
- Give technical support and assist to customers and internal team
- Be capable of handling a number of projects and working to tight deadlines.
- Able to work to sales targets.
- Outgoing personality with have excellent communication skills both verbally and written form
You will be a motivated and experienced sales professional or engineer seeking a move into Sales. Be computer literate with understanding of engineering drawings/schematics. Knowledge of Solidworks or AutoCad would be a benefit. Have previously worked in a technical manufacturing environment managing your own clients as well as developing new leads. Have prepared quotations and technical design specifications. Must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written form.
