This established manufacturing business is growing and as such they are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Sales Engineer to join their team. They are a friendly team and pride themselves on offering a reliable and cost effective service to their customers. They are looking for someone to join them who has strong sales acumen along with material handling experience and technical knowledge.
Responsibilities:
Identify and develop new business opportunities within assigned territory
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers
Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to educate customers on technical features and benefits
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery of solutions
Provide technical support and guidance to customers throughout the sales process
Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotes, and contracts
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities
Visit potential customers to build relationships and nurture accounts
Work to quarterly sales targets.
Handle a number of sales projects simultaneously and work to tight deadlines.
Estimate pricing and prepare quotations.
Candidate Requirements:
Proven experience in Technical Sales or a similar role
Strong knowledge of technical products and solutions
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to understand customer needs and provide effective solutions
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Ability to travel within assigned territory as needed
