Technical Sales Manager (Civil / Groundworks)
Coventry (Remote - Office Visits 1-2 Times Per Month)

Do you have BD / Sales experience, with a background in Civil Engineering, Landscaping, Groundworks or similar, looking for a truly pivotal role with a rapidly growing business which has recently moved to larger premises to accommodate their ongoing expansion, where you will be in a truly autonomous role, working with existing key clients to present the company's technically advanced products and services, adding direct value?

You will be in a nationwide role, meeting with consultant engineers, civil engineering contractors, councils and agencies. You will predominantly work with existing clients, presenting seminars and product demonstrations and providing essential technical expertise to increase brand awareness, service and grow accounts. This is a crucial role, where you will work closely with senior leaders on BD strategy, as they continue their impressive upwards trajectory.
The role:
- Full comprehensive product & technical training provided
- Development of the Grass Protection department through effective account management
- Identify new potential projects and clients
- Present CPD style seminars to clients
- Complete site visits at key points such as pre and post installation, to provide technical expertise and product knowledge
- Increase brand awareness within Civil Engineering and Construction sectors
- Implement departmental sales and marketing strategy
- Build and maintain excellent client relationships
The person:
- B2B Sales experience, having worked within either Civil Engineering, Landscaping, Groundworks, Construction or Earthworks
- Happy in a nationwide role - travelling to client sites
