MCS Group is currently working alongside one of Europe’s largest and most innovative manufacturers of piping, underfloor heating and energy efficient ventilation to recruit a Technical Sales Manager.
Established over 45 years ago the organisation designs and manufacturers products for the domestic, commercial and construction sectors.
The Technical Sales Manager will be an integral part of the dynamic sales team and will lead and develop the WMS (Water Management Solutions) strategy across the island of Ireland.
You will be responsible for selling a portfolio of specialist products and target projects across key sectors, whilst sharing your solution selling expertise to consultant engineers, architects, construction design teams and local authorities.
Working closely national internal cross-functional teams, you will be an ambassador for specialist products across the island of Ireland.
Driven and ambitious, you will achieve profitable growth through identifying opportunities within the market and use your expertise to develop unique solutions and achieve commercial revenue generation against company goals and budgets.
Essential Criteria:
- Must demonstrate strategic critical thinking and problem solving
- Ability to demonstrate Commercial and financial acumen
- Can conduct technical and commercial discussions with customers at all levels
- Ideally educated to degree/HND level in engineering / science subject or qualified by experience
- A collaborative approach to customer relationships, being able to look for and identify win-win solutions
- A proven track record of sales growth, with a focus on value creation
- Excellent time management, organisational and literacy skill
- Experience in the sale of multiple products in a complex environment
- Visiting customer sites is key for this role, therefore flexibility to meet business travel needs is required
- Min 5 years in a senior Technical Sales role – preferably within construction industry
- Fully conversant with Office 365 packages and CRM systems
- Full UK Driving License
