Technical Sales Person - Solar

Astute’s Renewables team is partnering with a solar PV service provider, who deliver reliable long-term sustainable solutions to the UK’s commercial, agricultural and housing markets. to recruit a Technical Salesperson.

The Technical Salesperson role comes with a salary of �30,00-�40,000 depending on experience, pension and flexible working.

Responsibilities and duties

Reporting to the Director you will:

* Liaise with sales agents to receive new opportunities for commercial scale solar PV.
* Produce initial designs using AutoCAD for quotation purposes. Produce budget quotations and supply to originating sales agent.
* Record the progression of opportunities through CRM system.
* Work with lead generation and marketing agencies to support the flow of quality leads into the business.
* Triage leads and allocate to sales agents for customer/prospect follow-up.
* Share final quotes based on full design/survey with sales agent for close.
* Brief ops team on delivery of won business and confirm project timings for client.
Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

* Experience using AutoCAD.
* Experience in a Technical Sales role, preferably solar.
* Previous use of solar design software ideally.
* Experience of presenting proposals to decision makers

Personal skills

The Technical Sales role would suit someone who is:

* Passionate about renewable energy.
* A good communicator
* Strong with IT skills.
