Technical Support Engineer / Wokingham / To £35k + Yearly Bonus

We are partnering with this forward-thinking global organisation to identify top-tier talent for the pivotal role of Technical Support Engineer. This role requires a blend of fault-finding expertise, customer service skills, and proficiency in ERP systems for tracking repair progress.
Location / Hours:
Based near Wokingham, Monday to Friday, with free parking available. Hours: 08:30 - 17:00
Requirements:
- Fault Finding: Methodically log and track the journey of parts from receipt to testing, ensuring meticulous documentation.
- Customer Interaction: Provide clear and concise updates to customers regarding the status of their parts during the testing process. Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Inventory and ERP Management: Handle the checking in and out of parts in the stores area efficiently. Package parts appropriately for shipment to headquarters for further testing or back to the customer, including detailed test report findings.
Salary & Qualifications:
Technical Proficiency: previous experience within a repair role would be great (perhaps a background as a white goods engineer, electro -mechanical type of role, repairing galley equipment, if you have some repair/fault finding experience and you are confident with data input and are happy to speak to customers over the phone to update them then we would encourage you to apply)
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, essential for customer interactions and internal communication. Comfortable liaising with customers and manufacturing sites within the group, all conducted in English. Organizational Abilities: Strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively. Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, including assisting in the warehouse when required. Salary & Benefits:
Competitive salary up to £35K, with additional benefits: Generous Pension Scheme, BUPA Medical Plan, Yearly Bonus (last year it was over 3 months' worth of salary paid as a bonus!)
