An established organisation, providing IT solutions to a variety of clients across NI who due to continued growth are seeking to recruit a Technical Support Engineer on a permanent basis.
About the role
• Handful of Smaller business clients - support existing and provide infrastructure consultancy (network, security, productivity, M365)
• Office based Belfast - Occasional travel to customer sites in NI
• Get involved in the full range of support activities. Show initiative to keep up with clients changing needs and tech changes.
• Level 1&2 support - delivered primarily through PSA RMM tools
• Project work as required (server upgrade, win11 rollouts, cyber security measures)
• Right hand man - Work with Account manager to fulfil client needs
Essential criteria
• M365 (Identity, Intune) Secure Modern Office
• Customer service
• Communication - be able to describe problems and solutions
• Windows Server, Active Directory
• Windows desktop deployment and Support
• Good documentation discipline
• Follow SOPs/Policy, improve current policies and SOPs
• Work with team - ask for help and share knowledge
Desirable
• M365 certification
• Come from MSP background (experience with toolset, PSA ticketing, and working multi-client)
• Experience working in Pharma / Regulated environment
• Azure IaaS
• Vmware, Veeam, Citrix, AVD, Aruba Networking, Sophos FW, teams voice, vulnerability management
