Due to the sensitive nature of this role you may be required to undergo DV (Developed Vetting) level Security Clearance (https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/united-kingdom-security-vetting-clearance-levels/national-security-vetting-clearance-levels). An allowance of £5k per annum may be payable monthly while you hold this DV and continue to work in a role that requires that level of security clearance. The terms of this allowance will be made available if you are successful in being recruited into this role.

The purpose of this role is to be technically proficient in an Engineering profession and to deliver work packages on a delivery project.
What you'll do:
- Deliver expert analysis of the meaning of EE communications data.
- Owns and delivers support, requirements capture, design, implementation, VV&T for GSS mobile projects.
- Delivers technical consultancy and guidance to technical queries arising from disclosure teams which relate to either TI and DR capabilities.
- Deliver specific project or capability enhancement work between EE and Government project teams.
- Inputs and deliver the education and consultation with Law Enforcement Agencies and local Disclosure teams on new mobile technologies and relevant services.
- Manage and own sensitive relationships with senior customers and act as the lead in those special projects.
- Represent GSS in Government and Law Enforcement meetings, ensuring compliance is met and/or key work stream milestones are achieved to budget and on time.
- Contributes to delivery of mobile projects to ensure they transferred to Disclosure Operations with minimal/zero defects and AIS is completed.
- Lead in liaising with EE source system owners to identify and resolve data feeds issues in the DR platforms.
- Contributes to the monitoring the development of new mobile products and services as well as the evolution of existing mobile network platforms, including highlighting potential impacts to ensure that relevant obligations capability can be maintained.
- Act as a point of contact for faults/data quality issues reported by Law Enforcement Agencies (LEA) and work across Operations teams to ensure prompt resolution.
- Assist in the support of Global DR & DD platforms
- Knowledge of TI and CD and how that can be discharged lawfully.
- Knowledge of all systems used for TI and CD products.
- Knowledge of specific mobile products and services including their platforms and underlying network architecture including knowledge of specific end to end Obligations system design, standards and applicable underlying security requirements to facilitate support of those platforms. Experience in the use of Linux command line.
