Central Employment has partnered with a long-standing business in the North East Industrial trade as they look to expand their Technical Support team with an experienced Technical Support Technician with experience in Electronics.
As the Technical Support Technician, you'll be working with electronic equipment, understand technical documentation, and product drawings using CAD, and have a great customer service approach. You will be providing Technical Support to customers of the client who may be facing issues with the various products and installation.
Our client prides itself on sustainable and consistent growth over their decades of operation, still owned by the founder. With this they have had a large proportion of their Managers and Senior technical staff start at this level and work their way up as their skill set developed.
You'll be working 8:30 - 5:00 Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week. Normally no overtime, so it is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for steady work, with good money, and future development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Technical Support for clients using a range of different products.
- Produce wiring diagrams, product drawings using CAD, and technical documents.
- Ensuring all technical documents are produced in line with company standards
- To provide training to customers and internal teams on products where needed.
- Assist with the development of new products.
Key Experience needed:
- Electronics or IT Support background.
- Understanding of wiring diagrams
- Communicating complex technical issues to non-technical professionals.
- Be able to use basic testing equipment
