A client of ours, a Top 20 firm based in central London is keen to grow their Support Services team by recruiting for a Technical & Training Manager.
You will have responsibility for delivering high quality training at all levels and be responsible for any technical queries that come in from clients.
Future progression is clear - the firm will put in challenging but achievable targets for you to be promoted to Senior Manager level.
Details of the role
- Help to build a firm-wide technical training programme
- Monitoring CPD for qualified members of the audit and accounts team
- Liaison with the L&D team to coordinate and facilitate training
- Sourcing of specialist training outside of the firm when required
- Preparing audit and financial reporting technical training material
- Supporting at events such as National Audit Conference
What you'll need to succeed
- You should be fully qualified, either ACA/ACCA or equivalent
- Knowledge and experience of both IFRS and UK GAAP
- The FRC Ethical Standard
- Confidence to liaise with senior members of the firm
- Ability to manage multiple projects at any given time
- Strong technical writing skills
