Here at Kingston College, we are seeking a dynamic, pro-active, highly organised Technician for our Music department.

We re looking for someone who has a working knowledge of sequencing software Logic and Pro-tools and the technical competency to manage and problem solve multi-track recording desks, mixing desks and studios. You will hold academic and/or professional qualifications in a relevant specialism, ideally at Level 4 or above, and understands relevant Health & Safety regulations.

As a Music Technician, you will assist and support academic staff during formal classes and instruct and/or supervise individual students or groups of students with or without a member of teaching staff present. The role is not to manage and supervise the pedagogic process or to take responsibility for the recruitment, conduct and progress of students - these activities remain the responsibility of lecturing staff. You will maintain classrooms, studios and workshops and support students to access and use specialist equipment and materials safely and appropriately.

Working days and hours are flexible and may vary throughout the academic year depending on the needs of the School. It is anticipated that the current need, and for the remainder of this academic year, is for one full day each week (Monday), term time only.
