We require an Automotive Service Technician of the highest calibre to join our busy Aftersales department at our Hyundai dealership in Liverpool. We offer a superb opportunity to the right person who is able to demonstrate a successful track record (ideally within the automotive franchise industry although not necessary as full training will be provided).
Role and Responsibilities:
- To undertake maintenance, service and repair activities on motor vehicles of all types to the highest standard to meet company and franchise requirements
- Measure, test and diagnose vehicle faults as and when required by the Service Manager
- Repair diagnosed vehicles, replace parts, lubricants and consumables where required
- Record all service and repair operations as required by the company and the manufacturer
- Work in a safe and professional manor, operating to health and safety standards
- Identify additional work and maintenance requirements on customer vehicles using an established EVHC process
The ideal candidate will:
- Qualified to NVQ level 3 (or equivalent)
- Have at least 2 years’ experience of working in a Franchise Dealership (or similar)
- Ideally hold a valid MOT testing qualification (preferable but not essential)
- Possess excellent customer service skills
- Take responsibility for the safety, standard and quantity of their work
- Hold a full UK driving licence
