Telephone Fundraisers
Part time - temporary role with immediate start until 31st July 2024
This role is working 3 evenings a week - Tuesday to Thursday, working no more than 12hrs per week from 5pm - 9pm
This role is working on the Milton Keynes campus

They are looking to recruit Part TimeTelephone Fundraisers to work within the Development Office. This is an exciting opportunity for someone wishing to work in an expanding team, responsible for generating significant philanthropic revenue for the client. The Development Office is central to the strategic aims and goals, and due to its success is expanding year on year.
Callers will be required to:
Make calls to selected Alumni graduates to;
Build on our relationship with the alumni and make them feel important to the OU
Most importantly, ask them for a donation to support their work
Update them on current benefits, news and other activities
You will be required to compose and send inspiring emails and keep accurate records of all calls made on the bespoke inhouse system.
The Development Office gains financial support from OU graduates, trusts, foundations, companies and other individuals. They raise money for students who need financial help, support for disabled students and other university projects such as their new scholarships programme.
