Charity Talent are recruiting for a Community Support Charity, hey are recruiting for a Temporary Job to start asap to support their Fundraising Department. This is a 3 month contract with a possibility of being extended. Based in Central London.
Charity Talent Recruitment: Fundraising Assistant Temporary Position, £12-£15 per hour, Temp to Perm

Charity Talent are currently recruiting for a motivated and detail-oriented Temporary Fundraising Assistant to join a Charity who supports the Community who are struggling Financially. This position offers the opportunity for career development in the field of fundraising and will play a crucial role in supporting the activities of their Income Generation.
Support Fundraising Campaigns:
Provide efficient and effective administrative and financial support for appeals and activities within the Supporter Engagement Team.
Maintain the database and manage financial processes to ensure the success of fundraising campaigns.
Administrative Support:
Provide administrative support for directorate meetings, workshops, and events as required.
Organise, minute, and attend key team and Directorate meetings.
Participate in virtual and office-based team meetings.
Stewardship of Supporters:
Stewardship of various supporter categories, including Community, Challenge events, and Individual supporters.
Update CRM with accurate and timely information.
Diary Management and Scheduling:
Support with diary management and key meeting scheduling.
Financial Processing:
Record donations from various sources promptly on the database.
Maintain a scanned library of all documents supporting donation processing and gift aid claims for audit purposes.
Adhere to all financial controls and procedures.
Data Management:
Perform timely and accurate data imports from external agencies, such as direct debits, standing orders, and PAYE, ensuring reconciliation with Finance.
Keep the supporter database up to date through accurate data entry and assist with data cleaning and process updating as required.
Documentation and Processes:
Maintain a suite of written processes for Supporter stewardship, financial, and database processes.
Manage a collection of active Thank-You letters and standard responses on the database.
Campaign Mail Management:
Be responsible for all returned mail within the Supporter Engagement Team, ensuring updates are made and materials are disposed of appropriately.
Ad Hoc Duties:
Carry out any other reasonable duties and projects as assigned by the Community Fundraising Manager.
Qualifications and Skills:
Previous experience in administrative roles, preferably in a fundraising or charity setting.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Proficiency in database management and financial processes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently.
