Grafton Banks Finance are delighted to be supporting a well-established, commercial business with offices in the area of Eastbourne. Our client seeks an Accounts Payable Assistant on a temporary (with view to be made permanent), full-time basis. This role will be supporting the Finance Manager with a range of purchase ledger and administration duties across the finance team. Duties will include: Preparing supplier payment runs Reconciliations supplier statements, resolving any issues Reviewing and processing invoices, clearing any backlog Liaising with suppliers on all aspects of their accounts and dealing with any enquiries. Creating new supplier records Agreeing invoices and credit notes Providing assistance and information for other teams across the business The successful candidate will: Ability to commute to and work from Eastbourne offices Have previous experience within a finance role, ideally managing some aspect of purchase ledger/Accounts Payable. Confident using Excel and navigating finance systems
