Temporary Credit Controller

Your new company:
You will be joining a global organisation in a newly created temporary role to assist with an aged debt project.
Your new role:
This position is going to be suitable for an experienced Credit Controller who enjoys getting stuck in to a project. Focusing on accounts that have not been consistently managed, you will be tasked with reducing the aged debt and bringing the accounts up to date. This will be achieved by:

• Reconciling customer accounts to understand the true aged debt position
• Resolving any unallocated or incorrectly allocated payments
• Contacting customers by phone, email and letter to address overdue invoices
• Extensive and complex query resolution
• Liaising with internal departments (sales, finance, customer service etc) throughout the query resolution process
• Building strong relationships with your customers and providing high levels of service
• Providing detailed analysis on problematic accounts and escalating issues
• Reporting on aged debt
• Attending regular debt review meetings with management to report on progress and address issues

What you'll need to succeed

You will have experience of working within a business to business credit control or collections environment, and be used to dealing with complex queries. You will have the ability to provide high levels of customer service, while still ensuring that overdue payments are collected.
