Reed HR are working alongside a large Not for Profit based in North London who are recruiting for a temporary HR Administrator for initially 2-3 months. This role is hybrid so travel into the office will be required.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. To act as the first point of contact for phone queries to the HR department, taking messages and directing calls as appropriate.
2. To manage the HR inbox, responding to and processing incoming correspondence, ensuring that all queries are dealt with in a timely, accurate manner and escalating complex problems to relevant colleagues as required.
3. To maintain the HR database, including inputting, updating and transferring of data in a timely and accurate manner.
4. To work with the HR Systems and Operations Manager to ensure administrative systems are effective, efficient and make best use of technology.
5. To ensure the data contained within the system is current and up to date by supporting the HR Systems and Operations Manager with regular data cleansing and auditing for consistency and accuracy.
6. To support the new system implementation project as required.
7. To administrate and produce accurate HR correspondence for the entire employee lifecycle in a timely manner; including leavers, contract changes, maternity, sickness, annual leave, staff DBS checks.
8. To ensure that all written documentation i.e., e-mail, letters, contracts are accurate and contain the correct information and the content is suitable for the recipient to receive.
9. To administer and coordinate the monthly payroll report, ensuring that all relevant salary/staff changes are accurately captured and sent to the Payroll team by the payroll deadline.
10. To provide staff with front-line advice on basic queries regarding employment legislation, contractual entitlements, Family Action policies and procedures, and good practice.
11. To provide the HR Business Partners and Advisors with administrative support across the full range of HR work.
12. To look for opportunities to continually improve HR practices and administration and present appropriate suggestions/solutions to the team.
