Test Analyst - Public Sector

Inspire People is working with a large Public Sector client looking for an experienced Senior Test Analyst to join a large, high profile and complex programme of work. As the Senior Test Analyst, you will be experienced in API Testing tools, and the creation and execution of all forms of software testing throughout the agile development lifecycle of revenue, online, and corporate systems. Circa £450 per day INSIDE IR35. 12 months (Approx. 235 working days) Hybrid working (up to 2 days a week) in London.
You should have extensive experience in collaborating with software development teams in multi-vendor environments to incrementally deliver systems that are tested efficiently and of high quality.
Extensive experience with appropriate documentation techniques for functional and non-functional testing that match customer expectations and that can be used by systems development teams in the production of high-quality software is also needed
The Senior Test Analyst will have expert knowledge of all forms of software testing for building integrated solutions using Microsoft Tools and Technologies. The Senior Test Analyst will work with all others as necessary within the project including the Senior Product Owner, Senior Developers, Technical Delivery Leads, Solution Architects, and other stakeholders to ensure the software produced meets the quality expectations of stakeholders and the standards agreed
Key Knowledge and skills required for this role are:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to explain complex information with agile development Teams including the test design and defect reporting.
• Strong experience with using API tools such as Postman.
• Expert knowledge of Backend API Testing manually and automation.
• Expert knowledge of C#.
• Expert knowledge of Selenium, and SpecFlow in Visual Studio.
• Expert knowledge of continuous integration, using Azure DevOps Pipelines.
• Expert knowledge of test case creation, maintenance and defect tracking.
• Demonstrable experience of working on back-office transactional systems.
• Strong knowledge of producing test artifacts such as Test Completion Reports.
• Experience with working with databases.
