Form of workCopello have partnered with a leading Maritime business based in Cowes, IOW who are in the recruitment for Test Engineers. The role will see you working on complex defence manufacturer products.
In this role you will be doing the following:
- Test a wide range of medium complexity manufactured products
- Diagnosing a wide range of medium complexity manufactured products with limited technical support
- Testing in accordance with defined Test Schedule/Instructions
- Using a wide range of complex test equipment
- Using business systems to record product history/compliance
- Working with minimal supervision
The ideal candidate will have the following skills/experience:
- Have an understanding of a range of technical disciplines such as analogue, digital, RF and micro-processing etc.
- To make judgements based on own knowledge and experience of similar situations
- To be able to use technical knowledge to undertake complex fault investigations
- Have a technical related qualification to HNC level or equivalent experience
Please note the role will require you to be eligible for UK Security Clearance.
This is also a full time on site role and can be offered on shift patterns or normal hours. The shift patterns look like : one week 6am-2pm everyday and the other 2pm-10pm.
