A Test Manager is required to join a well-known educational institution, playing a pivotal role in the SRS Programme for the rollout of Tribal SITS (Tribal Student Information Technology System). This strategic position involves taking accountability for all testing activities associated with implementing the SITS across the entire educational institution. This position will involve orchestrating end-to-end coordination of testing efforts, working collaboratively with multiple teams, departments, and strategic partners to ensure the seamless execution of this major educational institution's wide digital change.

The Role

As a Test Manager, you will contribute significantly to the success of a major digital transformation within the educational sector. With the company's emphasis on flexibility and autonomy, the Test Manager will be empowered to carry out their work in a way that aligns with both organizational objectives and individual preferences.

Some of what you will be doing:

• Strategic Leadership, leading and guiding the testing functions across the SRS Programme, demonstrating expertise in both technical and business change within an Educational setting
• Methodology Expertise, utilising knowledge and experience in testing methodologies such as V-Model, AGILE, and implementing a risk-based testing approach for large-scale change implementation
• Testing Specialisms, showcase proficiency in various testing specialisms, including functional testing, defect management, test environment management, migration testing, system testing, integration testing, UAT, and Non-functional testing
• Relationship Management, owning and cultivating relationships with strategic partners, ensuring effective communication and assurance throughout the implementation process
• Flexibility and Autonomy, implementing testing strategies in a way that best supports the company and its students, demonstrating adaptability and autonomy in achieving program objectives

Ideally, your skills and experience will include:

• Previous knowledge of Tribal SITS or similar solutions
• Proven history in leading test functions across programs of technical and business change, specifically within the education sector
• Embedding and shaping new test strategies/approaches across large matrix-managed organisations
• Software testing certificates or qualifications, e.g. ISTQB Certified Tester
