Attega Group is currently partnering with our client in recruiting a Test Technicianto join the team.
The main purpose of this role is to conduct the tests to ensure the products quality, design and functionality is to standard. You will be involved with the full range of testing phases including instrumenting product for test, test rig set-up, strip down and diagnosis of failed products.

This is a full-time, permanent role and office based. The hours of work will be Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm and Friday 8am to 3pm.
Reporting to the Test Engineer your responsibilities will include:

• Meeting with the product design team to plan and implement tests
• Perform quality assurance and performance tests
• Troubleshooting any errors
• Preparing the test results for the engineer
• Liaising with other departments to investigate and resolve issues raised by tests
• Be involved in creating test program

The ideal candidate for this Test Technician role:

• Minimum 3 years experience in a industrial/mechanical engineering environment

• Preferably a degree in Mechanical Engineering

• Previous experience as a Test Technician

• Organisational skills and great team work

• Good understanding engineering drawing and principles
