We are looking for a Theatre Practitioner to join a fantastic Private Hospital in Great Missenden. This is a full-time role at 37.5 hours a week across flexible shifts, Monday - Saturday. It comes with a salary of 36,000.00 and excellent benefits.
As a Theatre Practitioner, you will work 37.5 hours a week across shift patterns, Monday - Saturday. They have a nationwide network of Practice-Based Educators and Learning & Development Practitioners to support continuous development and training needs.
If you were already in this Theatre Practitioner role, here are some of the areas you would have been working in this week:
- Assemble, check and prepare the appropriate anaesthetic equipment, emergency drugs and consumables for a wide range of operative procedures incorporating various types of anaesthesia
- Conduct mandatory patient safety checks in conjunction with the team and according to policy, including 'pause' before administration of regional anaesthesia, and assist the anaesthetist throughout the perioperative phase of care
- Work as part of the operating team to provide safe, quality care to the patient throughout the procedure.
To apply for this theatre role, you must be a Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration. Twelve months of experience in a theatre setting is desirable but not essential. You will also require the following:
- A Mentorship qualification
- Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence
- Proficiency in the use of a PC, including using software and systems.
