Lead Theatre Practitioner - Scrub

Location: Milton Keynes

Job Type: Permanent Full Time 37.5 hours

Salary: GBP40,000 to GBP43,000 per annum (Depending on experience)

Job Ref: MK/LTPS/100

We are currently recruiting for a Lead Theatre Practitioner - Scrub to join the team at a prestigious private healthcare provider in the Milton Keynes area

The main duties of the Lead Theatre Practitioner - Scrub role include:

  • Provide safe and high-quality patient care throughout the perioperative phase while supporting and aiding in the management and coordination of care within the Operating Department.
  • Actively participate in delivering patient care.
  • Play a role in enhancing the quality of services provided.
  • Foster the development and improvement of skills and knowledge.
  • Advocate for and apply evidence-based practices within one's professional scope to ensure optimal patient care.

What we are looking for in a successful candidate:

  • Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration
  • An appropriate amount of experience in a theatre setting is desirable
  • Proficient in the aforementioned specialties and capable of supervising a team of around 10 personnel, overseeing theatre operations, and organizing session
