The main duties of the Lead Theatre Practitioner - Scrub role include:
- Provide safe and high-quality patient care throughout the perioperative phase while supporting and aiding in the management and coordination of care within the Operating Department.
- Actively participate in delivering patient care.
- Play a role in enhancing the quality of services provided.
- Foster the development and improvement of skills and knowledge.
- Advocate for and apply evidence-based practices within one's professional scope to ensure optimal patient care.
What we are looking for in a successful candidate:
- Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration
- An appropriate amount of experience in a theatre setting is desirable
- Proficient in the aforementioned specialties and capable of supervising a team of around 10 personnel, overseeing theatre operations, and organizing session
