Experience and Qualifications required for a Toolroom Operative in Oldbury

• Able to read engineering drawings & bench fitting experience is necessary
• CNC & Manual Milling (Siemens ShopMill & XYZ Prototrak Control) experience preferred
• Piercing, forming & cut off tooling experience required
• Experience of EDM Wire Erosion useful
• Able to prioritise own workload
• Computer literate
• Attention to detail

Details of a Toolroom Operative in Oldbury

• Operate standard tool room equipment proficiently
• Operate a Forklift Truck to assist with daily duties whilst also enabling tooling to be delivered to production
• Ensure as part of the team, breakdowns are covered in a timely manner so that production downtime is kept to a minimum
• Liaise with contractors/suppliers where required & when additional support is needed, including agreeing timescales & costs
• Maintain awareness & ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation, housekeeping standards & Company rules & procedures
