The client, a long established and growing engineering distributorship are seeking a Trade Counter Assistant to work from their Offices/Depot in Avonmouth.
You will join a friendly team in this organisation which is also part of larger group of companies.
You will ideally have good administration/customer service skills and MAY have an interest in e-commerce/online sales/ marketing/social media as you could use or learn these new skills to assist with promoting company products.
The company have a brand new facility and the role will be working in the 'Open to the Trade' Shop, dealing with direct in-person enquiries, but also managing the online shop, updating the range of products/prices and dealing with online enquiries.
Day to day activities will be broadly as follows:-
- Dealing with customers face to face who visit the trade shop.
- Dealing with administration surrounding product hire and sales.
- Keeping the online shop up to date with products and offers.
- Updating Web Pages and the E-Shopping Site
Depending on company needs and your prior skills/experience you may also get involved in:-
- Creating Emails and Marketing Literature
- Sales reach out and follow ups
- Updating Social Media sites with regular content and engaging with visitors
- Linked-In
