The Job:
Joining a well-established engineering organisation, the Trade Counter and Sales Assistant will work to support the smooth-running of business operations and Sales administration. Key responsibilities will include:
- Liaising directly with customers at the Trade Counter and ensuring a high standard of service delivery.
- Carrying out sales administration within the office environment, e.g. entering and processing orders, raising and sending quotations, responding to customer enquiries via phone and email, and maintaining and updating records.
- Assisting with the goods-in process for incoming stock, e.g. sorting incoming stock and booking into the system.
About You:
You will have a proactive and professional approach, able to work flexibly and adaptably in a varied role. You will have confident IT and administrative skills, and will be able to deliver a high standard of service to customers and clients in person, and via phone and email. Previous experience in an engineering environment, particularly in hydraulics, would be advantageous.
The Salary:
Dependant on Experience.
The Hours:
8.30am to 5.30pm, Monday to Thursday.
8.30am to 4.30pm on Friday.
