Salary: £22,000 - £27,000 (Totally Depending on Experience)
Monday - Friday only.
We currently have an excellent opportunity for a high calibre Trade Counter Sales Person to join the team of Hymor Timber, part of Arnold Lavers and National Timber Group - a leading timber supplies / timber merchants, working out their successful branch in Stoke.
The right candidate will ideally be well versed in dealing with trades sales within a timber merchants, builders merchants, construction sales, building materials, trade sales environment. Some form of sales or customer service experience within timber merchants, builders merchants, construction sales / trade sales background would be a great interest.
This role is a great chance for someone who is keen to learn and develop within a business who will offer them the opportunities to do so. Industry experience is preferable however we will also look at a strong customer service and sales background.
Duties will include:
Serving trade, trade cash and public at Trade Counter efficiently and courteouslyWorking pro-actively within the customer service teamEscalating customer service issues to Customer Service Manager and ensuring resolutionLiaising with company management to support and implement growth strategiesEnsuring best service levels for all Company customers through all locationsControlling and maintaining your allocated customer accountsIncreasing the number of trading customer accounts and ensuring that this business growsEnsuring that all customers trade within their agreed credit terms and resolving queries in order to ensure prompt paymentParticipating in external/internal staff meetings as requiredWorking hours, Benefits and Salary:

The successful candidate will be a customer focused, confident and enthusiastic individual with excellent communication skills. We are particularly interested in hearing from applicants with experience in the Timber Merchants/Builders Merchants/Construction Sales/Trade Sales industry, however training is available for the right candidate.
