SalaryGrowing commodities brokerage firm seeks ambitious, hardworking individual to act as a trade assistant/ middle office operations support for its growing team of brokers, serving various commodity markets. Position Responsibilities:
* Support brokers on multiple brokerage desks with trade execution and administration.
* Maintain customer information for transaction, billing and regulatory purposes.
* Ensure daily and monthly reports (both internal and regulatory) are completed and address any issues that may arise.
* Ensure documentation on processes is kept up to date. Candidate Characteristics and Requirements:
* Ability to juggle multiple tasks and ascertain priorities independently.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong analytical and organizational skills.
* Microsoft Excel formula understanding as well as capabilities for mental arithmetic.
* High level of written and spoken English. Additional languages may be useful if there is an overlap with our markets.
* Any experience with Trayport, ICE and commodities markets will be deemed an advantage.
