Job Title: Traffic Controller
Location: Coleshill
Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 per annum
Working Hours: 1pm - 9pm Monday to Friday

What we are looking for:
* Excellent communication skills
* Experience in a HGV/LGV environment
* Previous experience in a traffic/transport office
* Command of a English language preferred
* Excellent numeracy/literacy and IT skills
* Most importantly a passion for the job
Main responsibilities:
* Briefing/de-briefing drivers
* Communicating with drivers throughout the day
* Planning driver holidays
* Liaising with recruitment agencies and carrying out driver inductions
* Booking jobs on online platforms
* Arranging deliveries with customers
* Contacting logistics partners across the country to arrange loads
* Reviewing health & safety onsite and especially around our transport activities
* Monitoring drivers hours and carrying out routine compliance checks
* Maintain contact with existing customers and deal with potential customer inquiries
* Maintain internal records and databases with up-to-date information
* Work with other areas of the business to ensure an efficient and cost effective operation
