SalaryRed Rock TM are currently working with several clients in and around the Birmingham area to recruit for Traffic Management Operatives.
We have immediate starts for Traffic Management Operatives with a TTMBC or above on both day shifts and night shifts. Work is regular and on-going with the opportunity to be taken on full time by our clients on a temp-to-perm basis.
The role consists of but is not limited to:
- Loading and Unloading Vehicles
- General yard duties
- Assisting in the implementation, maintenance and removal of Temporary Traffic Management Systems.
- Setting out road closures, lane closures and diversions using signs, cones and barriers.
- Carrying out Stop & Go jobs
- Speaking with members of public and clients alike
To be eligible for this role you must:
- Have a minimum of TTMBC or above (T1/T2, M2, M3, M5 also desirable)
- Have a full UK driving licence
- 3.5T driving experience
- Have no more than 6 points (No IN10, DD or DR codes to be accepted)
- Be available to work early starts (0400-0700) for days and between 1500-2200 for nights.
- Be flexible working weekends
- Pass a drug and alcohol test prior to employment
There is work in various locations in and around Birmingham area.
Pay rate starts at £13.15 per hour and pay is weekly one week in arrears on a PAYE basis.
This role does offer progression routes with higher end operatives earning upwards of £1000 a week.
