Traffic & Transport Manager

Job Title: Traffic & Transport Manager - Events

Location: Saudi Arabia (Visa, Return Air Tickets, Accommodation, Transport, Meals and Laundry will be provided by us)

Job Responsibilities:

Traffic Management:

• Develop comprehensive traffic management plans to minimize congestion and ensure efficient vehicle flow.
• Collaborate with local authorities, transportation agencies, and law enforcement to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
• Implement and monitor traffic control measures, including signage, road closures, and detours.

Transport Logistics:

• Coordinate transportation services for participants, officials, and VIPs.
• Oversee the scheduling and deployment of shuttles, buses, and other modes of transport.
• Work closely with transportation vendors to ensure timely and reliable services.

Parking Coordination:

• Plan and manage parking facilities, including layout design and capacity analysis.
• Coordinate with parking attendants and staff to efficiently guide attendees to designated parking areas.

Emergency Preparedness:

• Develop and implement emergency response plans for potential transportation incidents.
• Coordinate with medical personnel, security, and other relevant teams to ensure a swift and effective response.

Communication:

• Establish effective communication channels with all stakeholders, including participants, staff, and local authorities.
• Provide clear and timely information regarding transportation logistics to all involved parties.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Transportation Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in traffic and transport management, preferably in a large-scale event setting.
• Strong understanding of local traffic regulations and permitting processes.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Effective communication and leadership abilities.
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
