The business is an ambitious Accountancy Practice based near Manchester Airport who are continuing with their growth and upward trajectory. The business has recently secured a new office which will support their expansion plans. They provide full accountancy services from annual accounts, self-assessment advice and payroll support to specialisms including Tax where you will have the freedom to explore and learn more about these topics as you choose.
Please note: This is an office based position with some flexibility if required.
Responsibilities
- Bookkeeping responsibilities
- Preparing VAT returns
- Supporting senior staff with statutory reporting
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Payroll journals
- Handling client queries
The Package
+ Salary of £24,000 - £26,000
+ Study support towards AAT or Professional Qualification (ACA / equivalent)
+ Mentorship and guidance from experienced professionals
About You
> Will be driven to pursue a career in Accountancy, they should possess a natural curiosity with a willingness and hunger to learn
> Be able to demonstrate an interest of Finance through prior experience or education (AAT / Degree)
> Comfortable with Excel with experience using basic formulas
