Are you looking to start your career in accountancy? We run a highly successful apprenticeship scheme, and we are now looking to add to our AAT apprentice team. You will learn the art of bookkeeping, assisting with the preparation of tax and VAT returns, management accounts, whilst also learning how to use accountancy software.
The Level 3 Assistant Accountant apprenticeship standard includes 6 AAT exams, in addition to a Synoptic Assessment as part of the End-Point Assessment process. Full study support will be given for the Level 3 qualification and on successful completion of the Level 3 apprenticeship there may be scope to move on to do the Level 4 qualification.
What work will I be doing?
Typical duties include:
- Bookkeeping for clients – processing invoices, recording receipts, bank reconciliations
- Assisting with preparation of VAT returns
- Assisting with the preparation of management accounts
- Assisting in preparation of limited company and sole trader accounts
- General administrative tasks
