Accounts Payable Assistant

As an Accounts Payable Assistant for a UK Leading Agronomic Advice and Product Supplier within the Agricultural Sector, some of the benefits you will receive:

Salary: £23,000 - £24,000 p/a

Hours: 07:00am -15:00pm, 1 day a week work from home (your choice)

Holidays: 33 days, including bank holidays

Other benefits: Company Pension, Private Medical Cover (including dependants with 50% company contributions)

What we are looking for in a Accounts Payable Assistant:

• High attention to detail.
• Innovative and creative approach.
• Excellent written English and grammatical knowledge.
• IT Skills –Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Database Management.
• Flexible approach, highly organised and effective time management skills.
• Work as part of a small, dedicated team.
• Finance software knowledge.
• Accounts experience.

Duties of the Accounts Payable Assistant to include, but not limited to:

• Responsible for company mail & distributing within the business.
• Filing, limited reception duties, registering visitors on arrival ang signing for deliveries.
• Employee expenses & petty cash claims.
• Entering suppliers’ invoices on to Purchase Ledger.
• Reconciling Purchase ledger statements.
• Monitoring stock accounts.
• Answering incoming emails and calls from suppliers.
• Assisting with any other purchase ledger tasks as required.
