My client is an accountancy practice which is a dynamic and expanding firm located in the centre of Sevenoaks.

They are seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join their team as a Trainee Accountant in Practice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to pursue a career in accounting and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist senior accountants in preparing financial statements, tax returns, and other financial documents.
• Perform bookkeeping tasks including data entry, reconciliations, and payroll processing.
• Support in conducting audits and reviews under the supervision of experienced professionals.
• Engage in client communication and correspondence to address inquiries and provide assistance.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks and projects.
• Stay updated on accounting principles, regulations, and industry standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Desire to pursue professional accounting certifications (AAT, CPA, ACCA, etc.).
