Key Job Responsibilities:
- Provide support to senior colleagues by producing accounts work without the need for basic amendments, and to agreed timescales.
- Proactively develop technical knowledge through a combination of workplace learning and formal study.
- Apply knowledge gained from each assignment across the entire client portfolio worked on.
- Use self-review and analytical review techniques to identify fundamental errors.
- Degree educated, ideally in a STEM (science/technology/engineering/maths) or similar subjects, and looking to start an accountancy career.
- Hard-working and committed to supporting the company and their clients.
- Using initiative to resolve problems, producing high quality work.
- A positive team player who likes a challenge.
- Enthusiasm, willingness to learn with an aptitude for analytical skills.
- Effective and clear communicator with the ability to build lasting relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- This is a full time, permanent role, Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm (37.5hrs).
- 20 days annual leave, plus bank holidays (and additional company and volunteering days), increasing to 25 days upon qualification.
