Trainee Accountant

About Us:
We are recruiting for a leading company in Borehamwood known for its excellent company culture and their commitment to growth and innovation. As they continue to grow, they're seeking a dedicated Trainee Accountant to support their central finance department in various tasks related to month-end management accounts and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with month-end management accounts including preparing journals, accruals, and prepayments.
• Conducting balance sheet reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Handling intercompany recharges and maintaining intercompany accounts.
• Assisting with fixed asset management and depreciation calculations.
• Collaborating with other teams to gather necessary financial information and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Working towards or willingness to study towards ACCA or CIMA qualification.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
