Vision Accounting are an established, modern and fast expanding Accountancy Practice working with both industry leading companies locally and businesses across the country.
We are looking for a Trainee Accounting Technician to join our friendly team. We are not expecting any previous accounting experience, however the successful candidate must be ambitious, enthusiastic and willing to dive headfirst into our busy practice. In return we will fully support the candidate through their AAT qualification by covering all financial costs and allowing time for study leave and course attendance, as well as providing on the job training.

Contract: Permanent following a three month probation
Hours: 08:30 - 17:00 with a 30 minute lunch break
Role Description
The Trainee Accounting Technician will be dealing with accounts, data and records for a wide variety of clients, from Limited Companies and Sole Traders to self-assessment individuals. The successful candidate will be supporting an existing client portfolio, with a key focus on delivering a high quality and thorough service. Core duties will mainly be assisting the team with accounts preparation, data entry and other general accountancy practice services, so attention to detail is essential.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be:
- Supporting an existing client portfolio.
- Working with the team to provide a high quality, proactive service.
- Preparing accounts for Limited Companies and Sole Traders.
- Completing regular bookkeeping tasks.
- Completing data entry tasks
- Providing general practice administration
Technical Requirements
The successful candidate must:
- Have excellent IT skills, particularly Excel.
- Have good written and spoken English.
- Preferably have previous experience within and office environment.
- 2 A Levels or equivalent.
- GCSE's in English and Maths
