TRAINEE FINANCE ASSISTANT
The Holgates Family Group has an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to start their career in finance to join our Accounts team at our Head Office and flagship park at Silverdale.
Hours: Full Time between Monday and Sunday. 37hrs with time allowance for training/apprenticeship commitments.
Reports to: Company Accountant

The role will include the following responsibilities:
- Credit Control for all customers.
- Assist with the high-volume processing of purchase and sales invoices
- To assist with reconciliations for all 5 companies within the group.
- To provide administrative assistance to the Finance team
- To produce weekly and monthly reports
- Monthly stocktaking across multiple sites and departments
- Cashing up duties (Including regular weekend mornings)
- Any other duties as required.
Criteria
- GCSE (or equivalent) English Language and Maths at Grade 4 or above
- High Level of aptitude for administrative tasks
- Good organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- The ability to work effectively with a minimum of supervision.
