Penny Ltd are seeking a Trainee Business Development Executive to join our offices in Ipswich.
Penny Ltd is a commercial funder and provides SME's access to funds to assist with the business sustainability and growth through as and when they need it
Our Business Development Team, are responsible for generating and maintaining relationships with Finance Brokers to increase our network of funding partners.
Responsibilities
- Identify new business opportunities and potential clients
- Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities
- Create and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions for clients
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets
- Provide ongoing account management to ensure client satisfaction
Requirements
- Prior experience in sales, account management or Business Development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated and target-driven mindset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

This is an office-based position that may also require client and event visits and attendance.
Starting salary between £21,000 and £26,000 (doe) plus commission, OTE year 1, £30,000 to £40,000
