Location: Maidstone

Salary: 23k - 40K DOE (Opportunities to earn extra for work completed)

Free parking

Monday - Friday 39 hours per week (can be very flexible after training)

Job Summary:

We are recruiting for a Trainee Die Catser to join efficient operation in a close knit team in the Maidstone area. The ideal candidate will assist the team in manufacturing metal products.

The role is based in factory setting with free parking. If you are looking for a close knit, friendly working environment, for a company that will invest time to train and develop you this could be a great opportunity for you. There are also lots of opportunities to learn other areas of the manufacturing process and build your skill set. Responsibilities:

• Monitoring and regulating machinery.
• Inspecting and preparing tooling for manufacturing.
• Using various metals to manufacture product to specification
• Using job records to check quantities of product required
• Preparing samples
• Following strict instructions & health and safety
• Adhering to production schedules and safety protocols.
• Maintaining tools, equipment, and work areas.
• Participating in quality investigations as necessary.

You will need:

• Previous experience working in a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Keen to learn new skills
• Ability to work independently
• You are comfortable standing for long periods of time and manual handling
• Detail-oriented
• Strong H&S awareness
