THE TRAINEE IT HELPDESK ASSISTANT ROLE:
- To be the first point of contact for staff seeking IT support over the telephone and email.
- Logging all IT support requests, documenting actions taken and escalating internally or external were appropriate.
- To liaise with third party software/hardware companies to resolve incidents and service requests, progressing through to closure.
- Provide on-site support attending office floors when required.
- Assist with project related tasks.
- Achieve the training and assessment requirements of the apprenticeship programme.
- Driving licence & own car (preferable)
- Highly motivated team player
- Have an interest in self-development and career progression
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Be well organised and have the ability to prioritise workloads
- Logical approach to problem solving
- Genuine interest in IT and developing communication technologies
- Ideally lives in Bracknell or within a reasonable commute.
- £19,000 - £22,000, depending on experience
- 20 days holiday + public holidays
