Trainee LPG Engineer

Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Trainee LPG Engineer to work in and around East Anglia. Reporting into the National Engineering Inspector, you will be provided with training and will build the skills and knowledge to enable you to become a qualified LPG Engineer. Once trained, responsibilities will include:
- Assisting Engineers in the installation, exchange and uplift of LPG vessels
- Carrying out ten year testing of LPG vessels
- Carrying out annual visual inspections of LPG vessels
- Attending emergency call outs
- Loading and unloading LPG vessels
- Supporting the service and preparation of LPG vessels in stock
- Completing service works on LPG installations
What are the hours?
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Paid on call and overtime.
What are they looking for?
- An interest in engineering
- Experience of working outdoors
- Experience of working with hand and electrical tools
- A grade C or 4 in GCSE Maths & English
- Full UK driving licence
- A willingness to travel and work away on occasions
- A mechanical mindset
- A practical, hands on approach to problem solving
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organisation skills
