Trainee Nursing Associate (Band 3/4)

This is a two year apprenticeship as a Trainee Nursing Associate Band 3.
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship you will be offered a Band 4 Registered Nursing Associate post.
The apprenticeship involves working clinically in your base ward within Airedale NHS Foundation Trust, attending the University of Bradford for academic study, going on clinical placements to learn in other areas of nursing and having some protected learning time in your base ward.
Assisting patients in all aspects of patient care to include, washing, dressing and supporting elimination needs.
To be directly supervised by a Registered Nurse whilst learning to undertake the role of a Registered Nursing Associate. To include but not limited to monitoring patients conditions, recording vital signs, administering prescribed medication within the scope of the role, monitoring care plans and learning skills such as venepuncture and cannulation.
Attending University to study for a Foundation Degree in Nursing, completing assignments and case studies.
