Here at GSL Education Watford, we are looking for someone just like you ! You will build your own desk from our extensive client list , filling daily, long-term and permanent positions . You will provide a great candidate and school experience providing staff for our schools.
Who are GSL Education?
GSL Education was established in the year 2000 and has its origins as a philanthropic initiative closely connected with the Keen Students School charity (KSS). KSS is a charity-run school dedicated to assisting numerous struggling GCSE and A-Level students in successfully re-sitting their examinations and progressing to university studies. Many of these students were drawn back to education becoming teachers, where again they were nurtured and supported through the network of contacts KSS had developed in the east end of London. At this point the schools requested support to find more great teachers and GSL Education was born.
With a core ethos of community and family values, GSL Education has maintained a "do-it-the-right-way" approach throughout its 20-year existence. The organization's expansion into cities like Canterbury, Manchester, Leicester, Watford, Newcastle, and Hull has been organic, with more potential locations on the horizon for the current year.
Who are you?
A Teacher? A recent graduate? A School leaver? Currently in a sales or customer service role? You will have GCSEs in Maths and English at grade 4 (C in old money) or above.
A confident written and oral communicator who is eager to learn and work diligently.

You’ll be looking to earn a market leading basic, fantastic, uncapped commission and a long-term incentive plan. During school holidays, the commitment is 5 hours per day, and you'll enjoy up to 35 days of holiday along with various other benefits.
The role includes the following ( this is a snapshot of the role with so many more aspects which make it fast paced and exciting, no day is the same !! )
- Telephone Business development, develop relationships with clients, including academies, schools, colleges, local authorities, charities, and other education providers.
- Work with schools closely , build strong relationships, Maintain strong connections with candidates.
- Fill daily, long term and permanent vacancies in a really timely and accurate manner
- Arrange and attend client meetings/school visits and drop-ins, assist with administrative responsibilities.
- Analysing job applications and pre-screening candidates
- Using job boards and watchdogs to build your own client pool
- Collaborate with a support team for tasks such as candidate identification, vetting, and processing.
- Oversee payroll activities
