Our Legal team are vital part of the Council, providing advice and guidance to a variety of department and supporting the organisation through all legal matters.
In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to qualify as a solicitor and develop your skills as you take increased responsibility for property related matters, the procurement process and litigation.
You’ll utilise your strong communication skills to support the Procurement Assurance Group and provide advice to managers on procurement. For property matters you’ll learn how to take the lead on drafting, reviewing, and advising upon deeds, contracts, and leases.
You’ll be comfortable communicating with a variety of different audiences from senior management to Members and external Partners and be committed to keeping your expanding legal knowledge and practice up to date.
This role will be based at our Council Offices, Argyle Road, Sevenoaks Kent TN13 1HG. We currently operate a hybrid working model for the majority of our roles where your working time will be divided between the office (2-3 days) and home working (2-3 days).
