Trainee Underwriter

Our Client has an excellent opportunity for people looking to join a friendly and busy Household Underwriting department, based in a successful and growing Insurance organisation.

They are seeking bright individuals with some general Insurance experience who want to develop your career in Underwriting.

In their experienced team, they have the capacity to fully train you to be an Underwriter.

Also you will have a strong ability to communicate and negotiate, be self-motivated in order to provide first class customer service.

In this role, you'll spend most of your time working closely with the team but also to be able to spend come of your time working from home.

Your main responsibilities as an Underwriter, following training, will include:

• Underwrite New and Existing Business profitably and accurately
• Maintain and develop Business Relationships with your Brokers
• Produce timely and accurate documentation
• Share your Underwriting experiences with other team members

To be successful as an Underwriter you will demonstrate:

• Insurance experience, and a desire to train to be an Underwriter
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to deliver exceptional Customer Service
