CARE LEARNING CENTRE (CLC) are currently looking for experienced Health and Social Care Professionals with a Health and Social Care Qualification at Level 3 or above to join our motivated, enthusiastic, and committed training team, to train a caseload of learners from Level 2 to Level 5. For all candidates it is essential that you have excellent communication, IT and digital skills as well as the ability to work independently and manage your own time. Full training will be provided for the successful candidates who do not hold the Assessors award.
CLC training staff work from both head office and home with occasional travel, helping to achieve a perfect work life balance.
Key responsibilities will include
- Maintain a caseload of learners, build, develop engagements and relationships with employers
- Carry out virtual/remote teaching, learning and assessment activities
- Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely contact and teaching, learning, assessment and support sessions are conducted
- Delivering learning programmes including functional skills, employability skills and digital skills
- Review learners progress and achievement in accordance with CLC procedures and contractual requirements
- Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress, performance and progression
- Planning and implementing initial assessment, inductions and learner reviews
- Support, advise and motivate learners
- Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs
- Building and developing relationships with Employer
Essential
Health and Social Care Qualification at Level 3
Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively
Must be flexible with engaging with learners
Full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle
Desirable
- Hold a recognised Assessor Award (TAQA, CAVA, A1 or D32/33)
- Ideally hold recognised Internal Verifiers qualification IQA/V1 or D34
- Ideally hold a Level 3 or above teaching qualification
