Our award winning Contact Centre here at SSCL is growing at a rapid rate and is continuing to expand the services they deliver to our Government clients. We are seeking an experienced Training Lead/Manager to design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training programs to all levels within our organisation from Customer Service Advisors through to Senior Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for tailoring training content to meet the specific needs of various public sector services, ensuring that all training is aligned with industry standards and best practices.
Our team is predominantly based in our Newport Centre of Excellent, and we would like the trainer to be here on a Thursday and Friday each week and the other 3 days from home there will also be regular travel likely monthly to visit our other teams in Liverpool and Newcastle
What you'll be doing:
- Training Design and Development: Develop and update training materials, modules, and programs tailored to the needs of different government clients and services.
- Training Delivery: Conduct training sessions for customer service advisers, team leaders, and senior management, using various training methods including in-person, virtual, and blended learning.
- Assessment and Evaluation: Implement assessment tools to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Customisation: Tailor training content to address specific client requirements, service challenges, and operational environments.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with client representatives, internal teams, and external partners to ensure training meets client needs and organisational goals.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new training methodologies to enhance training programs.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and performance outcomes, and prepare reports for management and clients.
What you’ll bring:
- Experience in designing and delivering training programs
- Experience being in a fast pace environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and engaging manner
- Ability to tailor training programs to meet diverse client needs and adapt to different learning styles
- Strong commitment to understanding and meeting the needs of clients and learners

- Relevant training certifications are highly desirable
